Penang Life: Week One A new beginning for our family as we settle in for our Malaysia Second Home residency. Trying on new school uniforms, trying out new foods, even new sports in beautiful Penang. The city continues to keep us entertained and engaged. Week one found us at the Bon Odori festival, and we are looking forward to the rest of the summer's activities. Meetings with clients, catching up with colleagues and friends, and playing tour guide — challenge accepted! The camera was over my shoulder at all times. It was cold, yes, but the sun was mostly out, and as I went from meeting to meeting, coffee to dinner, I enjoyed exploring Tokyo and a little bit of Osaka along the way. I moved my center of gravity to the Jimbocho area and the walks to the financial district and back gave me plenty of opportunities to snap photos. View gallery on fb2.photography Barcelona Digicam My first visit to Primavera Sound festival was in 2014, and, together with my sister, we've been regulars ever since. Each year feels a bit different, with numerous things happening in our lives, and the world is changing rapidly as well. But it is always a special occasion and a true privilege to be there. As a repeat visitor, I can finally skip the must-see landmarks and take snapshots of the little things, feeling at ease with the photographic side of the trip. And of course, we're checking out the fresh fashion trends with the beautiful crowds at Primavera. Cowboy boots are back! I had to sneak away every now and then on the trip to do some proper photos :) View gallery on fb2.photography Budapest Photowalks I'm from Budapest, but by having this distance of living in HK for the last four years, it's a great opportunity to look at the city with fresh eyes, and appreciating the architecture and the history I was kind of blind to while living there.
